Position Overview

The Executive Assistant Manager (EAM) is a senior leader within the hotel who reports directly to the General Manager (GM). This role provides critical support across all operational and administrative areas, ensuring the smooth functioning of the hotel. The EAM acts as a versatile resource, stepping in wherever needed, whether overseeing department operations, assisting with HR tasks, managing purchasing, or coordinating scheduling. The EAM ensures continuity, consistency, and excellence in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the GM to manage daily hotel operations and ensure all departments operate effectively and efficiently.

- Serve as the GM's representative in their absence, addressing operational needs and maintaining service standards.

- Step into department head roles as needed during vacations, leaves, or other absences.

- Oversee purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and operational needs.

- Manage HR-related functions, including scheduling, team morale, and conflict resolution.

- Provide strategic support to department heads in achieving performance goals and operational targets.

- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvement plans to maintain high service standards.

- Act as a liaison between the GM and department heads, ensuring clear communication and alignment with hotel goals.

- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to contribute to the hotel's ongoing success.

- Assist in financial planning and budgeting activities as directed by the GM.

Required Skills and Experience

- Proven track record in a senior operational role within luxury hospitality, such as Department Head, Operations Manager, or similar.

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Versatility to work across departments, adapting to diverse operational needs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and maintain high team morale. - Solid understanding of hotel operations, including HR, purchasing, and scheduling.
